Events are displayed according to two factors – distance from the event and time in which the event started. Great! That’s great to hear. There are several ways to get your voice heard, but the official way is to vote for your city in our official poll.
Events:
How do I add an Event to Wsup Now?
Well, first, you must register. After registering, there are 2 ways to add events to Wsup Now.
- One can add an event manually through our “Add Event” page
- Add an event by importing an event through Facebook (you must sign in/register with Facebook Connect).
How do I import a Facebook Event?
In order to import a Facebook event into Wsup Now, you first have to register using Facebook Connect. From there, go into “Add Event” and then click on “Import Event from Facebook” – some events will have to go through an approval process, but most all events will be approved automatically.
How do I remove Wsup Now from my Facebook Account?
To remove Wsup Now’s Facebook app, go to: Account > Privacy Settings > Apps and Websites > Edit your Settings > Apps you use > Wsup Now > Remove App For more, please read about Wsup Now’s Privacy Policies.
Can I sell tickets to my event?
Not right now. However, if you want to use EventBrite, Brown Paper Tickets, Ticketweb or another vendor, feel free to link out to the ticket info in the event description (we support HTML).
There is inaccurate information on the event – can I report it?
Yes, please! Go to the event’s detail page and scroll down into the footer – and click report event. As an aside, Wsup Now assumes no responsibility for inaccurate information. So, please contact the venue or promoter to confirm event details.
Venues:
How can I request a venue to be added?
Easy, just suggest a venue.
I am the owner of the venue, can I take ownership of my venue page?
We’re working on this feature for future iterations. Right now, contact us and let us know you’re interested in controlling your venue page.
Why am I limited to just five event tags?
The goal is to have users not only find events that are the most relevant to their location/time, but be able to find the events/parties that speak to them. For this reason, we’ve inserted event and venue tags so that users can sort. With that said, we want promoters to be able to capture their perception of what their core demographic for that event would be.
